About Us
Our PMIS platform (Doctors, Pharmacy, Laboratory) was born from an authentic story of the difficulties of access to care encountered by the mother of the Project Leader somewhere in Africa.
Indeed, the latter had a health problem which required the consultation of a specialist in a university hospital (CHU) located in another city of the country.
This situation highlighted the financial, transport and organizational difficulties inherent in making appointments, which led to long and interminable queues in the field, appointments granted with long deadlines, exhaustion, fatigue for a person already weakened by illness, etc.
This forbidding reality, which patients and professionals are often confronted with in their daily lives, strongly challenged the son of the project leader.
His rage was the trigger. Thus, wanting at all costs to bring about change to make life easier for everyone had become a burden.
After having exchanged with Régis a doctor in computer science (living in Dakar, Senegal) on the subject, our thoughts matured at 360 degrees. The idea of providing a unique and pragmatic support solution finds its full meaning hence the journey of PMIS.
To turn this idea into a project, the project leader had to contact Mohamed Bouarfa, a computer engineer, through his wife Sara, who both live in Morocco. And the PMIS magic is on its way...
Mohamed then started the first code of the application. He encountered some difficulties, and he called in a team in India which is managed by Nimish and Tauseef. This dynamic team carried out this project. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts...
During this period of designing PMIS, we encountered obstacles that we knew we could turn into opportunities.
We had to relearn how to work differently within a multicultural team, to take a step back, to stand tall and to constantly adapt to our decision-making in the daily evolution of the project.
We have enriched each other on the technical, human and relational aspects.
Beyond the challenge, it was a real school of patience, perseverance, determination...
